How to Raise the Change Capacity of Your Whole Organization
While anxiety about AI replacing roles sweeps through organizations, this is not the moment for change managers to shrink. It is the moment to expand our impact by unlocking the change capacity already present in everyone else.
Change agents are not a special class of people with extra authority or budget. They are the people who see a problem or opportunity and act on it using the authority, resources, and tools they already have. In this session, you’ll learn the 7 Change Agent Essentials and how to model and teach them so that instead of a few leaders pulling and a few change managers pushing, you create organizations where far more people drive positive change without burning out.
Attendees will leave able to:
-
Reframe their role from “managing change for others” to “multiplying change agents across the organization”
-
Introduce the distinction between driving change (choosing a change for yourself and clearing obstacles for others) and driving people
-
Identify the 7 Change Agent Essentials and simple ways to teach and reinforce them
-
Spot where people are already acting as change agents (often invisibly) and amplify that behavior
-
Design approaches that produce more change with less burnout and less reliance on top-down force
This is practical, field-tested thinking for change professionals who want to raise the change capacity of the entire organization rather than carry more of it themselves.
