Luciano Fretts

Managing Change in Construction Projects: What Really Works in the Field, which focuses on practical, real-world lessons from construction and project management, including how change management impacts schedule, cost, communication, and stakeholder alignment.

Luciano is a Senior Construction Project Manager with over 20 years of experience delivering complex commercial, federal, industrial, and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout. My career spans high-risk and technically demanding environments, where safety, collaboration, and disciplined execution are essential to success.

He began my career in the oil and gas sector, working across heavy industrial sites, offshore platforms, fabrication yards, and large-scale structural and mechanical installations. This experience built a strong foundation in safety culture, operational discipline, and leading teams in challenging conditions while maintaining focus on quality, communication, and results.

Today, he leads commercial and federal construction projects, overseeing preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client engagement. I work closely with owners, engineers, and field teams to align project objectives, manage risk, and deliver outcomes that support long-term operational and organizational goals.

Leadership is central to his approach. He focuses on building trust, guides teams through complexity and change, and creates environments where people feel supported, accountable, and aligned with a shared mission. He believes strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to safety and quality are the foundation of successful project delivery.

Don Vichitvongsa

Culture Building, the Importance of Project Metrics and Process Intertwined with Personal Backgrounds provides an executive leader's perspective of how he has served his teams and customers through end-to-end project delivery, operational execution, and organizational performance.

Don is married to his wife, Jennifer, and together they have a daughter and a son. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and an MBA. His career began in heavy industry with Dow Chemical and transitioned into light manufacturing, where he has spent more than two decades in window and door manufacturing (fenestration). With over 30 years of Corporate roles, As the leader of a Kingdom-minded entrepreneurial venture, he is committed to honoring God, honoring team members, honoring clients, and honoring the community—in that order. Widely regarded as a Servant Leader with a strong belief of being highly active in his journey of generosity, he thrives on empowering others, fostering collaboration, and inspiring innovation. Recognized as a galvanizing innovator in business, he combines vision and execution to create lasting impact for the people and organizations he serves. He also serves on the Board of City Commit of Sarasota.

Angelika Butler

Angelika Butler is the Vice President of Construction Operations at Power Design as well as serves as the host of this event. She is an award-winning executive that has been recognized by the Women in Construction Leadership and Networking Conference for sharing ideas, experiences, and ways to keep a more inclusive future in construction. Angelika is married and mother to a charasmatic and energetic young man.

Angelika plans to share how she started in the construction business and her experiences that have led her to her current leadership position at Power Design.
